Photographic series

Set in a GP waiting room, this series explores the suspended state of medical limbo. Clinical order and stark lighting are subtly disrupted by a visual language of pain, surrealism, and care. The quilted textures hint at something lived, something overlooked. Chairs becomes proxies for a body unacknowledged, particularly echoing the delayed recognition of women’s pain.

The subjects are witness and patient, both seen and dismissed.
