Invisible Pain (Stabbing) is a self portrait considering how pain is seen an believed outside the body using textile manipulation and staged robotics. It touches on Coldrey’s interests in pain, technology and the surreal dark humour evident in much of her work.

Finalist, 2022 William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize, Australian Museum of Photography.
